I have been working very hard on a proposal, and today I met with the team to get their thoughts. They loved it! And I really liked them :) ...I hadn’t worked with them before, and it was a fun, high-energy meeting. There are still lots of steps and several layers of approval to make my idea happen, but I know what to do next and I feel great about it!

I’m not worried about it or anything, but I’m having a hard time concentrating on my kids’ book revisions when I’m sitting in a little dressing room forever wearing a weird pastel cotton cape.
I guess I’ll work on it for quite a while in the evening to make up the time!
I feel like I’m doing pretty well at work lately. I did a lot of writing for a project that the editor liked, I made a good recommendation for a successor for running Project Go, and I have a research presentation coming up that I think will be good…
