Heh :D Today I had a prime chance to laugh at myself when my Dad blew me up because yesterday I turned on the dishwasher without the special protective salt in it. ‘Didn’t you see the red light, girl???’, he kept asking rhetorically, and I just played dum, ‘cause… I did see the light (it was kinda impossible not to see it) but frankly I was so whacked out yesterday after a day full of studying I just decided not to go into details about what’s blinking and what the heck it could mean. So… I told Dad that as I don’t drive yet I’m not too oversensitive about red lights :) (now maybe I’ll start to be? :)

“You can’t really be strong until you can see a funny side to things… you have to laugh at the tings that hurt you just to keep yourself in balance, just to keep the world from running you plumb crazy… [don’t] let the pain blot out the humor no more’n…let the humor blot out the pain.”
[K. Kesey, “One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest”]
