One interesting feature added in Internet Explorer 7 is that the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + “plus” and Ctrl + “minus” resize everything on the page—text, images, animations, etc. In Firefox, only text is resized. It’d be great if Mozilla offered image resizing (at least as an option) in its next Firefox release.

In many ways, Internet Explorer 7 has successfully played catch-up to recent versions of Firefox. But even with all the improvements in the new IE, some features are omitted. For example, while you can select “Open in New Window” by right-clicking a hyperlink in IE, there’s still no analogue for Firefox’s “Open Link in New Tab”. It’s not clear how Microsoft overlooked this.
