Sponsor a child

Having received a literature bundle, he is convinced and we are going to sponsor a child. I will ping all the stuff over after the weekend.

Having got a job I have spoken with my partner about sponsoring a child. He wants real proof that the children go on to make something of their lives after having been given an education. For me, it’s enough that they survive and have food to live, never mind what they choose to go on and do, if they have any choice at all. Sigh. Now I need to do a cost benefit exercise for him.

I have 2 children, both of whom are well provided for. For years I’ve thought about sponsoring a child but haven’t done it. It’s so unfair that some people are born into the privilege of a 1st world country with a welfare state and others aren’t. As soon as I have a job and am receiving regular income this gets done. About time.
