never, EVER grow up

That would be vodka and lime twist ;)

Drink- opoly was quite fun, being that if you land on an opponents property/station you must drink a shot glass of vodka, other rules included the passing of go without having finished your normal drink resulting in another shot glass filled with vodka and landing in jail got you the equivalent of downing twice that.

I think we did well keeping the game going for, oh, at least 2 hours!

Hungry Hippos was just crazy… at one point i sat back and observed how we all looked not unlike the monkey from A Space Odyssey 2001, shouting and hitting this game like we couldn’t comprehend what it actually was. I maintain that I won that game… my hippo was shit hot!

After that the night was a little hazy, but i distinctly remember wearing a blanket like a sarong and dancing to Michael Jackson’s Thriller… my friend said we looked like performance art!

Ahhhhh, It’s good to act like kids once in a while =]

Im hitting that 25 year old milestone this year and I think im possibly having some sort of a crisis. I found myself in front of the mirror earlier examining the skin under my eyes with a look of distain. When I was a child I played a game with my auntie and nana where we used to pinch the skin on the top of our hands to see who’s went back the slowest. Not surprisingly a young agile Kat’s took a less than a second, my auntie who was in her 40’s at the time took a few seconds longer… and my nana, bless her, who at that time was an old lady in her 70’s, took double both of ours combined. The moral of this story, well actually there isn’t one. It just popped into my head and made me smile I guess

The one line in my forehead; which ive been pretending is a sleep line, is a telling reminder that I am in fact a fully fledged adult, and technically I should have been acting like one for the past 5 years at least. So with that in mind as I sit here with my ice lolly, contemplating a water fight on this lovely sunny day, and I ask myself…. Who really says that I have to grow up?!
