Santogold – apparentely sounds a lot like MIA (who I have yet to check out). The songs “L.E.S Artistes” and “Say Aha” are worth a listen. Bit hard to describe, like loads of styles fused into one.

Junior Boys – “In The Morning” I understand that it was released like 2yrs ago but I only discovered it on saturday when I was watching So You Think You Can Dance (I know its no excuse but I was sick) and Lacey and Pascha (!!!) did a brilliant hip hop dance to it. Seriously obsessed with this song now.
The Joy Formidable” – only discovered this band about 16hrs ago, thought the name was cool so I’d give them a shot. “Austere” and “Cradle” are great.
*White Rabbits – “While We Go Dancing”, don’t really seem to like any other songs.
Voxtrot – “Kid Gloves” seems to one of those songs that seems familiar but you can’t for the life of you place it…
The Dodos – “Winter” is the standout track for me
Frightened Rabbit – I listened to “Head Rolls Off” about 50 times going to school today, love it THAT much.
My Teenage Stride – “Ears Like Golden Bats” sounds remarkably like a minimalism piece I have to compose for music, the lyrics – you’re gonna let me down, are genius.
Jack’s Mannequin – forgot to mention this band the last time round, my friend sent me some of their songs like 3 yrs ago and i found them recentely. Didn’t really like them before, LOVE them now. “Kill The Messenger”, “Dark Blue” and “The Mixed Tape” are my favourites.
Kimya Dawson – I may be jumping on the “Juno” bandwagon here (which I still haven’t seen!) but what the hell “Tire Swing” and “Loose Lips” are the best.
Kind of off the point but does anyone else like Bloc Party’s “Flux”? I seem to be the only one in my friends/country/world that likes this song.
Agnes Kain – Only heard two songs, “All time high” and “Puddles and mud” but i like it!
Blonde Redhead – “23” is brilliant.
Margot & The Nuclear So and So’s – especially “Skeleton Key”
Of Montreal – “So Begins Our Alabee”, Best ong i’ve heard in a while.
but here are my offerings –
Black kids (especially “I’m not gonna teach your boyfriend how to dance with you”
Beirut (some songs sound like hungarian folk music but i love it, the best ones are “Nantes”, “Elephant Gun” and “Postcards From Italy”)
