I’ve been quite good at doing this recentely – talking to more people in the common room and in my classes etc. Still a LONG way to go, but I’ll get there. Some conversations are a little stilted but I really dont care as much as before.

seeing as i didn’t go to this party that apparentley EVERYONE else went to last week, I am forcing myself to go iceskating next friday – followed by a gig at my old school (one of my friend’s boyfriend is in one of the bands playing). I have only been iceskating one, the first and last time, as i sprained my arm when my (now ex-)friend declared that i wasn’t going fast enough and so pulled me with such force that i slippd and my arm went the wrong way ( kind of bent backwards). So I’m putting myslef through all of this in the name of friends.

didn’t really realise how hard this was when your moving into a situation where everyone already knows each other and has inside jokes. Also quite hard when all the boys fancy your friends so that whenever you’re around her they are all friendly but the minute she goes away they act as if you aren’t there. I also realised that im kind of a different person in this school, a very boring one compared to the sarcastic person i used to be.ARGH! oh well only two more years…

started at new school yesterday in sixth form ( so there are a lot of us theat are new) and i get along fine with them, unless we run out of conversation, the usuals starters being “so what subjects are you taking?” and the ever interesting “what school are you from?” BUT the people who are originally from that school have made NO effort to speak to me or any of my friends – my attempt today just got a big glare.
