Well, my textiles professor was thrilled with the merino roving I gave her. She rubbed her face in it and squealed and hopped around and I think the class left that day a little more convinced of her insanity.

They’ve got spindles and wheels and looms and all this cool stuff. It’s so awesome. I’ve got my little drop spindle, and my big ol’ wad of wool, and ten minutes later I’ve got. . . something that doesn’t remotely resemble yarn. Crap.
