my motivation:

I did not get into my master’s programs (the first choice or second choice). This of course set off the inner drama queen for a period of time, however, less long than it would some of you!
Nonetheless, I realize that although I want a master’s degree, maybe I don’t want it enough at this particular moment in time. I’m certainly not focussed enough on a specific topic. Maybe I’m hungrier for something more, maybe I need more freedom to explore and yet do the same amount of work to produce an equally substantive result in different form.
My idea is that Wikipedia is going to be part of the process toward that end.
