I actually went to the ocean with my best friend and her family the summer after I graduated from high school. It was somewhat awkward going on vacation with another family, but they were all amazing and very generous. I do have to say that the ocean is beautiful, it makes you feel small. For me on a personal level I thought it was very spiritual. It’s so beautiful, especially the sunsets, for me I see God in wonders like that.
