My dad keeps picking on me about the extra weight I tend to carry on my stomach, my “paunch” he calls it. It’s making me really insecure so this goal is getting reapplied.

I’m up to 110. All fat, not muscle. I need to work out this summer. Swim, run, and tan. Or SOMETHING!

I’m on the pill for health reasons (I’m 16 and never been kissed so TRUST me I’m not sexually active with ANYBODY!) and it’s making me gain a bit of weight. I’m fine with the number on the scale (it’s only like 105-which btw is perfectly healthy for my height) but I don’t like the way it looks! All this weight is on my stomach and thighs. Summer is coming up and I’m really not liking the thought of being in a bikini with this flab. Totally not appetizing. Nobody else notices of course and they all think I’m insane but I notice and I don’t like it. I think I’m gonna start running. I’ll start with 15 minutes a day and then increase it. (I’m not good at running so the slower I start, the better.) I’ll need to get some workout clothes (all I’ve got is gym clothes right now and they’ve gotta stay in school). Maybe I can convince Dad to take me to Dick’s or something… hmmm who knows? But anyhow my point is I need to make better choices regarding this. I need to eat healthy (I still plan to forgo the sketchy salad bar at school and go for the pizza and such but I’ll eat the veggies with it and hold off on buying snacks) and I need to work out. I’m even going to gulp stay after once a week or so to work out on the weight machines. Or get Dad to rejoin the gym. That would be a better solution for me but not for his checkbook I’m sure. Running is my new thing. For now. Til I get bored with it and my knees protest.

1/2 hour walk today and opted for a lollipop instead of a bowl of ice cream. but had a really crappy dinner (KFC). gonna go get some toast and some tea or something and head to bed. lovely, eh?

btw:i just deleted “stick to my diet” b/c i don’t have a diet persay and i can just combine it with this.

I so didn’t do any of that. I drank coffee and hot chocolate and some other crap too. I didn’t stay after at all to work out. I ate crap for lunch (didn’t even have ONE salad) every day. I am staying after tomorrow and I will work off this extra weight (damn side effects) and replace it with muscle weight so that I’ll weigh a HEALTHY 110 or more for the next blood drive and so that I’ll look good and feel great. Does anyone have any ideas for working out at home without buying equiptment or tapes or anything? I get bored doing the same routine and right now the weather outside is rather crappy so I can’t get outside to do much of anything.

For the next week this goal is one of my top priorities. I’m drinking only tea and water until after the dance and I’m doing cardio as often as I can. Staying after as many days a week as possible. I think Wednesday is the only day I can’t stay after. ::thinks:: Monday I could do it, no prob, I’d just get home late. Tuesday I can if I get my wax apt around 3:15 or 3:30 and then go to see Brokeback around 5 with my gramma. Wednesday I can but I’d smell for my mani/pedi so I’ll just workout when I get home. Thursday I think I could too. And I’m eating a salad for lunch every day this week. Cross-posting this to various other goals. I’ll be working this for summer and for homecoming/prom next year too. Oh and I’ll be watching what crap I eat as well. Not sure what I’ll do for breakfast or for lunch Tuesday when I don’t have the time to eat in my schedule but dinner will probably be either grilled white meat or a boca burger. I can do this radical diet for a week and then just eat healthier after it. I can do this.

I worked out yesterday. Felt so amazing. Sweaty but amazing. It was totally great. Did the eliptical for almost an hour!!!! Class is getting out. The natural high I felt though was amazing. Too bad my dad squashed it with disappointment (that’s another story though). See ya later.

Stayed after for a bit. Could’ve been a better workout. Staying after again tomorrow. Might do some of that tape of programs I taped tomorrow too. If not, prolly Wednesday or Thursday. Biked today, eliptical or treadmill tomorrow. I hate weights so I don’t use them. haha

I’m staying after today to work out in the school’s fitness center. Doing cardio for about 1/2 an hour. I’ll letcha know how it goes.
