other forms of cast on methods

That list is sure to grow as I find out about new techniques.

I can’t figure out how to purl. I don’t know why but it just won’t click. But I did teach myself how to switch colors/skeins. Finished the shawl for my friend and am working on a scarf for a different friend. Next task-learn to knit in the round.

Working on a scarf. I can knit, purl, do yarn over, cast on, and cast off.

hahaha!!! YAY! Mol and I had a falling out today but Katie (another girl in the cast) taught me how to cast on and showed me how to knit (then I used the book I bought to actually teach myself)! I’m so excited. I’m working on a 25 stitch thing (it’s like 6 inches long almost so obviously it’s loose-ish-I think. On size 8 needles. But I’m so excited!!! So not done with this goal yet but well on my way!

I’ve made this my new year’s resolution (one of ‘em anyhow) and I’ve bought yarn and a kit to teach myself (yeah, right! That’s not going well. I need someONE to teach me). I’m excited!!!

My friend Molly is gonna teach me. : ) I’m happy.
