learn to drive

I’ll need to take my permit test again after my birthday but I have new incentive. My poppys giving me his car when I get my license!

Had a really bad driving experience Friday night. Scared to get back behind the wheel. Didn’t hit anything but got really flustered and stressed and it took me a billion hours to get where I needed to go. Not cool.

hehe ^_ Totally drove home from solofest this morning. Half an hour drive or so. Lots of traffic around me at certain points and I didn’t flip (I hate traffic, hate going 65 esp. around curves, hate changing lanes, and HATE driving with no shoes on but hate driving in heels more). I turned into Starbucks and when we got out of there, Dad goes “You want me to drive so you can eat and drink that stuff?” “NO. I wanna drive.” “Okay” And I drive around, take ANOTHER corner too fast and nearly spill my cafe mocha everywhere on my nice brown pants. Not cool. But other than my speed and my hatreds, I’m pretty good. This’ll be counted as done when I get my license.

I’m going good on this. I’m not fabulous and Dad’s a SUCKY teacher but oh well. I drove on the expressway. Scared outta my mind. But I’m okay at this. hehe ^_

Got my permit and went driving on Wednesday. If I’m not a total bitch before then, Dad’s taking me out again tomorrow. Too bad I’m scared to step on the gas. He had to coax me to go 15 mph. But it was a cemetery so I couldn’t go much faster.

First step. Getting my permit! Tuesday… I get it Tuesday… if I pass…
