get in touch with old friends

Seems like you talk of the devils and they email you the next day, someone I was very close to a few years back sent me a message yesterday and now we are talking for the first time fince 05. It feels good :)

with a lot of people. But not the ones I was specifically thinking of. I think ill tick this off after I get int ouch with one particular friend, after all she inspired it.
I feel so close to getting hold of her, but im waiting on hearing from a third person. So who knows!

I have put a fair bit of effort in the last two days to find some of my old friends, I have found a lot more people while on that road. Im not sure this goal is worth doing, I have found myself being very introspective almost sad im not not entirely sure why, I think its because I have been given a harsh reminder of people I didnt nessisarily want to remember as well as the ones I want to find.
Sometimes I think relationships and friendships end for reasons, even if they are very small and silly ones, sometimes people really do just grow apart, if perhaps they were that important to you, you would have made the effort to stay in contact.
I don’t know, I’m going to see this one through still but its being a strange experience.

I got back in touch with my friend in Asia and things are going well, since then I have been taking more time than I would of probably given to my friends in England so that they dont become ‘lost’ friends.
This week as well my dad passed me on a note that my brother wanted to get in touch with me (we grew up in different famiies) and Im waiting for him to come online today. It could be a good thing or a bad thing I guess ill have to wait and see.
I sent an email off last night to the fiance (who happens to be a friend of a friend, I saw her email address in a email given out) asking her if she would be real sweet and pass on my details to her boyfriend. Hopefully she will if she remembers me from all those years ago and hopefully if my email doesnt get stuck in her junk filter, gmail has a awful habit for that.
I guess the next step is to get a fucking facebook account or something while its still raving, so I can seee if I can find people. I have written a list of people and I would like to at least talk to all of them, even if it is once….

I just wrote an email to a friend of mine who is travelling round asia at the moment, pretty much a day or two before he left I had a blow out with him for something that wasnt his fault. I have been feeling bad ever since(Its been months) Today I found his travel blogs and pictures and realised how much I missed him, enough to bite the bullet and tell him im sorry.

The best way to seek people out on the net? (European side of the world) I’m looking for someone particular from school, she isnt on friends reunited. I know she changed her name by deedpoll years ago to something I cant remember, we drifted apart for the stupidest reasons. I’m thinking the only way to get round this one might be to maybe write a letter to her mothers house if she still lives there :S
Any suggestions?

Its ironic isnt it, the day after I set this goal a ghost from my past contacts me, its karma :p
