feel like a kid again

We were walking thru the grocery (looking for eggnog)when my husband saw some marshmallows and said “Hey! lets get some of those.” So I replied: “Great, in fact, lets go ahead and make s’mores…” He then revealed that he had never had a s’more and didn’t know what it was!! So, I got some chocolate and graham crackers and am intent on fixing that problem TONIGHT! We just need a good campfire.

Got some new cartridges over the last 2 months that were on sale. Also got some decorative brads and a glue/glitter stamp set, and you’ve never seen an adult woman have so much fun with glitter! Insane. Just wish I got the inspiration to get it all out to use more often… I think a bigger table to work on will do it!

Got me a cricut cutter machine for my birthday! I feel like it’s the first day of kindergarten!! I’ve cut out every shape on the cartridges I have. I made 2 cards and a bunch of little spiders and squirrels. It’s so much fun to cut shapes and glue! I don’t even care about the photos on my scrapbook pages as much as the embellishments I can now make! And I’m thinking about a little trip to the aquarium… and how childish I can make that trip! LOL!

We decided to have an ‘act like crazy kids’ day. I made strawberry shortcake for breakfast then we drove to the city and spent the day at the zoo. On the way home we stopped for hot fudge sundaes! Now he’s playing video games and I’m surfing the net. What a fantastic day!! He took lots of pics and I shot some short clips during the day on my camcorder- so cant’ wait to see how they came out (the battery is now dead). I’d like to make a little movie about our zoo trip since I missed the breakfast and sundaes… maybe add them in later. Anyway, we truly felt juvenile much of the day and really enjoyed our time together.
