I’ve actually read some of these when I was younger on my own:
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
Treasure Island
Robinson Crusoe
I loved Robinson Crusoe reread it several times :)
Yeah…anyway I started a couple: Beowulf, The Grapes of Wrath, and All Quiet on the Western Front.
The rest I’ve read my JR. and SR. year of High School
The Great Gatsby
The Scarlet Letter
The Crucible
Macbeth-After reading this play, I’m not really impressed by this story. Though, I’m happy on Tolkien’s reaction to Shakespeare’s idea of the forest “moving”.
Romeo and Juliet
Antigone – I got to be Antigone.:)
I’m setting a goal to read at least 50 books in a year that started Aug 11,2006 till August 11,2007. I’ll make sure to include quite a few of these.
