I had a revelation a few days ago, that in order to move some of my goals into the done list, I needed to break them down into small, achievable steps. Like my goal, “drink more green tea.” What does that mean? When I lived in Japan, I drank eight glasses a day. Back home, not so much. So I made a goal of drinking three glasses a day, cold or hot, and I’m aiming to keep it up for 21 days. Since they say it takes three weeks for something to become a habit. Only four days in, but so far so good. The specificity helps.
