I sprained my ankle yesterday and as I was trying to enter a building today on crutches, a girl walking behind me sped up and opened the door for me. Being my overbearingly nice self, I tried to hold the door open for the girl and her friend. The girl laughed and walked through, but her friend refused and held it open for me. “What do I look like goin’ through the door with you on crutches holdin’ it for me?!?” Hahaha.

I will start with a memory. So, first off, I’m home from college for a month. A few days ago, I was feeling like I needed to get out of the house. I drove over to a park on the bay and walked on the beach, watched the sunset, and got some beautiful pictures. As I was getting ready to leave, a young guy, around my age, was just arriving in time for the very end of the sunset. I decided to leave and let him enjoy it in solitude, the way I did. Although I didn’t see the final streaks of color fade from the sky, my favorite part, I felt twice as happy knowing this perfect stranger did.
