Have spent time organising office and home. Home still needs more work and general decluttering.
I seem to get more organised in one area of my life and then another area becomes more disorganised – bit like trying to keep lots of spinning plates in the air – if you concentrate too much on just one then the others come crashing down.
Need to have a good think and come up with a plan for this – my life is pretty hectic with loads of different deadlines to be achieved during the course of 24 hours. To manage to do this I really need to identify which areas to focus on first and then try to maintain them while organising the rest.
Think I may need to simplify my life and declutter and that will help me focus.
Am over-run with work at the office – today has been much like being in a boat which is sinking and trying madly to stay afloat by scoping out the water!
Have consciously tried keep head above the waterline by creating a new system to organise all the different pieces of paper, e-mails and queries which have headed my way en masse. Will aim to stick to the system for at least a week and see if I am generally more organised at the end of it. Boring but essential if I am to stay sane I think.
