Have a CD which I have been listening to for the past week or so. Taking opportunities to meditate when I can. Am more positive generally (not that I was really negative but think can always do with more positive thoughts) so will keep on working on this

Have just got a book and CD guide to beginner’s meditation so am going to give a try this weekend.
Tried out some meditation this evening after doing some reading about it.
Managed to do an effective 5 minutes and cleared mind quite well considering I have a large worry at the moment and had been fixating on that for the greater part of the day – which means that my other goal of worrying less is not going as well as it should.
However, after the meditation I felt much more positive, despite the fact that I’d not thought about the worry while doing it – so maybe this goal will help the ‘worry less’ goal which would be great.
Am going to try again tomorrow. Would welcome any advice from people who meditate regularly. Thanks.
I’ve tried this a couple of times in the past but never really persevered – my mind kept jumping about all over the place. Think I need to read and learn a bit more about meditation and then try to start with small steps – just a few minutes a day would be a start.
