Weekends going strong, too!

So far, my weekends aphave improved greatly!

We’ve planned one or two outings or events for the last three months, we met up with friends and family, and we even travelled.

I think we can mark this goal done, and set new goals!



Last minute plans for week 3

Better to make plans in the last minute than to have no plans at all – so here I go :-)

  • One or two outings with friends or spouse
    No plans for outings yet. I’ve had two birthday dinners in the last 12 days, so I might just go for lunch with my husband and call it a day!
  • Some down time for myself at home
    My husband will go skiing tomorrow so I have the whole day for myself. I’ll make some fresh granola and sort my stuff. And knit. And nap!
  • Some sense of accomplishment
    My paper piles are still untouched. My cowl is waiting for me to knit more and the Christmas tree is still up. Who knows what else will appear :-)
  • Some exercise
    A nice walk, it’s nice and snowy outside. I might even be brave and ride my stationary bike for a minute. Not more :-)
  • Some good food
    Having had a wonderful pizza with smoked cheese, spicy salami and ham and rucola today, I think I’ll take that part slow and leave the good food for Sunday when I might have a nice steak.


New year, new plans - weekend 2 in 2013

As Techkat reminded me: I neglected this goal more than a little – so I’ll start again today! And mean it!

  • One or two outings with friends or spouse
    There’ll be a birthday celebration this weekend, so that’s settled!
  • Some down time for myself at home
    A new idea: I’ll schedule myself time! Now to collect ideas besides lounging around!
  • Some sense of accomplishment
    My paper piles are still untouched. My cowl is waiting for me to knit more and the Christmas decorations are still up. Who knows what else will appear :-)
  • Some exercise
    A nice walk, perhaps?
  • Some good food
    I’m hoping not too many of it :-)


Start planning again

I neglected this goal a little – so I’ll start again today!

  • One or two outings with friends or spouse
    We are invited to two festivities today and the parish festival tomorrow. Though my husband has a summer flu, so we’ll see if we go to any of those!
  • Some down time for myself at home
    I was up at 4:30 today and spent a luxurious 3 hours reading all I wanted :-) Then I went back to bed…
  • Some sense of accomplishment
    My work papers are still untouched. My sock wants to be knitted and paper is taking over our table again. And I need to vacuum. Who knows what else will appear :-)
  • Some exercise
    A short workout on my stationary bike? A walk? Perhaps trying my nordic walking poles?
  • Some good food
    I’m sure there’s plenty of good food at the festivities :-)


Long Pentecost weekend ahead

So, what will we do?

  • One or two outings with friends or spouse
    I have no idea yet – I hope I’m able to think of something by tomorrow! Can’t just do nothing!
  • Some down time for myself at home
    Much needed after this work week, and I plan to spend some quiet time on my sofa and nap
  • Some sense of accomplishment
    My work papers are still untouched. And my hand is healed enough to be able to start knitting the second hand warmer. Who knows what else will appear :-)
  • Some exercise
    A short workout on my stationary bike? A walk? Perhaps trying my nordic walking poles?
  • Some good food
    I’ll cook something nice! And we’ll try to see a new restaurant! Whoa!

So, what will we do?

  • One or two outings with friends or spouse
    My husband is much better. I think we’ll be able to visit some. And perhaps go shopping :-)
  • Some down time for myself at home
    I’m getting my hair done on Friday in the afternoon and plan to get some down time afterwards
  • Some sense of accomplishment
    My work papers are still untouched. And than there’s the second hand warmer. Who knows what else :-)
  • Some exercise
    A short workout on my stationary bike? A walk? Perhaps trying my nordic walking poles?
  • Some good food
    I’ll cook again AND we might go out! Whoa!


Late but not too late

My plan

  • One or two outings with friends or spouse
    My husband is still recovering from the surgery and the tonsillitis he got. I don’t think outings are in our cards this weekend…
  • Some down time for myself at home
    I still need a lot of quiet time at the moment and I plan to keep this up for the weekend
  • Some sense of accomplishment
    My work papers are still untouched. And than there’s the second hand warmer. How knows what else :-)
  • Some exercise
    A short workout on my stationary bike? A walk? Perhaps trying my nordic walking poles?
  • Some good food
    I’ll cook again! I’ll try my hands on fajitas and chili and tacos ;-)


Friday on my mind

My plan

  • One or two outings with friends or spouse
    I hope my husband will come home from the hospital on Friday!
  • Some down time for myself at home
    I need a lot of quiet time at the moment and I plan to keep this up for the weekend
  • Some sense of accomplishment
    My work papers are still untouched. And than there’s the hand warmer. And a lot of other things :-)
  • Some exercise
    A short workout on my stationary bike? A walk? Perhaps trying my nordic walking poles?
  • Some good food
    I’ll have to cook some, just have to find out what my husband can have :-)


Last minute

My plan

  • One or two outings with friends or spouse
    Enjoy time with my husband, who’s going to have surgery done this monday
  • Some down time for myself at home
    I’ll have plenty of time for myself when my husband is in the hospital, so that will have to take the back seat this weekend
  • Some sense of accomplishment
    I will have to clean something. I might even organise my work papers. Or I might start knitting my 2nd hand warmer ;-)
  • Some exercise
    A short workout on my stationary bike? A walk? Perhaps trying my nordic walking poles?
  • Some good food
    We’ll see :-)

    Huh. I’ve got no idea yet!
  • Some down time for myself at home
    You bet. I plan to spend at least an afternoon all by myself
  • Some sense of accomplishment
    I will have to clean something. I might even organise my work papers. Or I might start knitting again ;-)

    At least a walk seems possible. Perhaps even a short workout on my stationary bike!
  • Some good food
    I think that this might be the weekend I get to eat sushi :-)
