down with the crotchety!

Does it ever seem like the strangers around you are in a mean, foul funk? I’ve noticed a lot of urban mistrust and retail-or-waiter-directed grumpiness lately. Now I’m no Maude Flanders, but at the least I would like to zap the crotcheties and replace them with a neutral, not-everyone-is-out-to-get-me mood. Or maybe just zap the crotchety people so they can see their behavior from another perspective.
