destroy my debt

Should be another month and a half and I’ll have obliterated my (not my girlfriend’s) credit card debt. Ownage.

My transmission died on car 1, and CV boot on car 2. Harumph, I say. Still hacking away like I normally do, but the big satisfaction the tax returns were supposed to give me are nowhere to be found.

It’s a long, agressive road. But I think December will see the end of my (and my girlfriend’s) debt. Oooooh yeah.

...put me into this spot where I owe enough to put me a little behind on my checks. I had never developed a real financial plan, just sort of flew by the seat of my pants hoping everything was going to work out. Fortunately for me, I recently decided to develop a spending plan, savings plan, and investment plan, which I did. Now my target is to destroy my debt, freeing up about $290 per month in credit card payments and getting me out of that spot where I feel responsible to stay stuck in the same situation to fulfill my obligations. Next month, on the 7th, I’ll have paid off my first card and paid back one loan.
