What procedures at a dermatologist are usually covered by insurance? I’m wondering what all the more extreme options are, at getting rid of acne and healing scars. I am interested in clear light, but it’s considered plastic surgery I think. I need my skin cleared, and healed I hate these scars and I hate myself and my appearance enough without them. I need one less thing to worry about, and maybe just one thing to be happy about. I’d like to have some confidence and not worry about my face (and everywhere else). My boyfriend had really bad acne I know it bothers him a lot. I want us both to get over this

First off I need to leave my skin alone so it can heal…I want to eventually get Retin-A Micro again. Insurance doesn’t cover it saying it is cosmetic. I am also sensitive to these prescription treatments..I get horrible burning rashes on my face. I wonder if there are special creams for other areas of the body. When I went to a dermatologist he said to use Stridex wipes but I don’t like the residue they leave behind and if I use something like that on my face it makes it oilier. I found out about something called Clear Light which is laser treatment to heal acne and remove the scars. It’s very expensive of course but maybe it will become more popular and easier to access sometime soon.
