Lca

I finally opened up the LCA package I got for my birthday. I don’t think the film took, thats 3 rolls I used at a recent event! It came with a hipshot bag, film, some books, a colorsplash flash, and a fisheyes lense that I have to somehow mount. I don’t think I’m quite cut out for photography. It’s hard for me to see beautiful things or be imaginative, and my pictures and skills just suck :(

Photos Developed [1]

I got my NYC pictures developed at Ritz Camera the other day. I am going to do something special with the doubles and give them to Jim when I see him Monday. I really wish I had takem more pictures. I get so caught up i everything it slips my mind, that happens with everything exiting I do.

Cross Processing?

This seems really cool. I was looking for my color slides, which I never found, and flipped through one of the books that came with my Colorsplash and it talked about this. The website is www.lomography.com/x

Idea #1- Writing in the air

I can have someone keep the shutter button pressed down while I take a candle (preferably in the dark, but I can experiment with this) and write letters in the air. Take a new picture for each letter, and make messages, develop them and piece them together in creative ways! I could also use other things that glow in different colors. It may better to use a different format camera, like an Oktomat for example, although I don’t know much about it and it’s functions.

December Mission

Night Moves

Long exposure images shot at night – with and without flash – no daytime shots, show us glowing colors, streaks, blurs…

Deadline: 2006-12-21

The prize is a Horizon Perfekt

Last night I could have done this, I drove through a Christmas light display. It is definately the perfect time of the year for pictures like this. I am bringing my Colorsplash with me Saturday and can use the long exposure when it gets dark. Hopefully the damn thing will actually work or I will be very dissapointed! It probably won’t, I can’t count on it at all!

I re-made an account at lomography.com, using a username I thought I had already registered and established. I must have deleted that, and any points and entries I had somehow! Lomopirate was what I had used a few years ago and what I signed up as now.

Target

I discovered Target sells Lomography cameras through Amazon.com. I checked their website and they have one in their online store. That means maybe they sell them in their actual stores?! I never would have thought. I didn’t think I’d ever find one anywhere besides online. That’s awesome Target always lives up to the image I associate with them.
