(Too bad my goal isn’t sculpture—with that title)
Anyway, I completed my First-time Painter Class this past Sunday. We worked with acyrilics in the class so no oils for me yet. I am considering taking a basic drawing class before moving on to oils maybe with the fall schedule. In the meantime I bought a couple of drawing books, because… heheh … I try to find a book for everything that interests me.

Not to the oils just yet  — 1 year ago

Went to my first painting class on Sunday and did exercises with tints and shades with acrylic paints. Liked it—probably would have liked it more if it was an afternoon class. Why does everyone assume that people like to get up and start the day early? My brain doesn’t really begin humming until almost 2 p.m.

I just signed up for a “First Time Painter” class—Starts in two weeks. My one friend is suppose to sign up too, so hopefully I’ll learn something and have a good time.
