Tuesday's To Do  — 1 year ago

1. Spend an hour on Illustrator tutorials
2. Write Cover Letter/Emails for jobs and apply for them.
3. Weekly Cleaning
4. Attempt to touchbase again with C. at New Office.
5. Watch Netflix movie so you can return it.
6. Work on writing for one hour

Monday's Goal List  — 1 year ago

1. Yoga—preferably in the morning at the gym. Otherwise, I’ll have to go in the evening.
2. Locate and apply for two jobs I want.
3. Spend one hour doing Illustrator tutorials
4. Call temp agencies that I applied online with as a follow up.
5. Grocery shopping

These are the five essential things I would like to get done tomorrow. Hopefully, seeing them listed here when I log into my computer in the morning will motivate me to get into gear.

Update (12:26 a.m. 3/13/07): I did manage to spend an hour on the Illustrator tutorials, I followed up with both temp agencies and managed to set up meeting with one of them for Wednesday at 3 p.m. and hitched a ride with my roomie to get the grocery shopping in, but missed yoga class and while I located two jobs to apply for I have yet to write the cover emails for them

It's quasi-late, I'm super tired  — 1 year ago

yet here I am, click, click, clicking away on 43things. Does this mean I’m officially addicted to this site?

Was on this site, procrastinating again today  — 1 year ago

When I stopped myself and made myself go to the gym for some exercise (just for clarification, I’ve skipped going to the gym for about 3 weeks now). Now, I need to tear myself away again and go get ready to go out.

Another small step  — 1 year ago

I just transferred money in my bank account and set up my payment for my credit card bill (one day before it’s due) and I printed out my morning, night and weekly routines a la goal number 1.

New plan...  — 1 year ago

Everytime I see this goal—I’m going to try to do one thing I’ve been putting off. For example, I just responded to a bunch of emails that I’ve been letting pile up. Late night emailing, dangerous for sure, but hopefully I was mostly understandable and the recipients will cut me a little slack if I wasn’t.

Blech  — 1 year ago

So I have my list of things I need to get done… and what am I doing? Not working on the list… I’m on here, I’m calling friends, I’m rereading an 880 page book, I’m digging out old unfinished projects to work on… Yeah, I’m REALLY good at this procrastination thing!

The presents were all wrapped with care...  — 1 year ago

I’ve had a fairly productive week—at least holidaywise. I spent the weekend making Christmas cookies, I started and finished my Christmas shopping (and stuck to my budget) and have wrapped all the gifts. I plan on leaving tomorrow to drive eight hours to spend the holidays with family. If I manage to get up at a decent hour I’ll get my car packed and be on the road by 11 a.m.

Tomorrow: * strip bedding and wash and dry
* run dishwasher
* clean kitty litter and take out garbage
* pack car

Well... how about  — 1 year ago

procrastinate more efficiently? I did so-so on the anti-procrastination thing this weekend. I did do some packing, but still have a lot more to go. And during my procrastination time I looked at my French books and a website focusing on learning French.

All about the destination  — 1 year ago

Since I’ve been very lax lately with my goals, I’m declaring this week destination week—as in let’s see how far I can get if I actually do some work on these and stop wasting time.
