Had an appointment at a temp agency today. Met three different people, however I got the distinct impression that one took an instant dislike to me. She got the “face”.
Whatever. At least I don’t have to work with her.

I’ve managed to post my revamped resume on Monster and I also applied to two more temp agencies today. Hopefully, I’ll hear back from one of them with some sort of gig to tide me over.

Time keeps slipping...  — 1 year ago

Had a minor freak out when I realized that I haven’t done anything to find a new job in the month since I left my last one. Well, I got all my holiday shopping and gift wrapping done, finally unpacked a few boxes from my move back in September and visited friends and family in Michigan over the holidays, but since not a thing on the job front (unless you count looking at the job boards and thinking about updating your resume—then I’ve been plenty busy). So I finally called my old staffing company and scheduled an interview for next Tuesday, which means I’ll have to get my resume updated. Next up actually applying for jobs I’m interested in.
