Two days ago I made the last payment on my husband’s CitiBank card! They had to go first b/c the interest rate was at 29% (even though we had been paying on time for well over a year and a half) and they refused to lower it. They’ll never get another dime from us. Next up: One of the cards that is in my name. That should take about 8 months. I can’t wait to be free of credit card debt!
