I’ve been trying to do the 20grams fat/30 grams fiber and here’s what I’ve found out:
Most days I can’t do 20 grams of fat. However, if I do go over it’s not usually by much because I am trying to limit. I’m watching the labels now and kind of know what I can’t have. Like – we had Pepperidge farm cookies in the house – the kids wanted them. I took one, and then we checked the fat grams. Two cookies has 8 grams of fat. So I stopped at one. Before if I didn’t look, I’d have eaten three of four (ok probably 5!)
Between doing this and exercise, I’ve lost four pounds. I suppose I’ll need to tighten up as I go along later if I want to lose more.
