have nice furniture

Well, I’m sitting on the sofa now.

I have the second bookcase in a box on the floor. When the small dining table is delivered a friend from work will help me put them both together.

Then all that is left is to buy a chair or recliner, a coffee table, side table and accent table. After that I should be done; except for maybe a few small details, pillows, extra lamps, etc.

I purchased a lovely bookcase and a friend put it together for me. Also got a TV and a good deal on a TV stand. It was the last one and had been the display item so I didn’t have to put it together.

I went to JCPenneys and found the sofa I liked. Will be ordering it the day after tomorrow. I found a recliner that was beautiful and sooooo comfortable. I’d planned on buying it two weeks from now but when I got home and checked the online reviews, they were awful.:/

Guess, the first things I’ll get are a small TV and TV stand. I was looking at a small stand that fits into corners. I like that idea. I want my books to be the focus of the living room- not the TV. I want it to have a cozy library look and feel.

Next, I’ll get bookcases for all my books and place a counter height table in front. Where I can find a counter height cherry wood table, I do not know. But that’s what I want so I’ll track it down.

There’s no way I’m going to complete this by September 1st; unless I come into a large sum of money in the next week or so.

I did, on the other hand, finish furnishing my bedroom. I have a very comfy mattress on a bed frame and box spring, a firm pillow, a beautiful lingerie chest and matching nightstand and my vanity just arrived. I’ll put that together today.

Next, I’ll start furnishing the living room. I think I can complete that in six weeks.

My goal it to complete this by 9/1/2012.
