write a movie

Unfortunately I could not attend this event as it conflicted with my work.

I was handed this brochure when I was on my way out of Virgin megastore in mall of the emirates. I got immediately interested then disappointed as I knew I could not attend.

Anyhow, I think this is a yearly workshop and I have a chance to catch it next year when I’ll be able to take a 2 days leave.

I do have the desire to start writing my own movie. I can say that I got my plot semi-concocted. All that it needs from me is to devote a couple of hours of my time to sit down, get in the mood and most importantly get serious and real practical and start writing away.
I got my eyes fixed on a couple of young egyptian actors to be in the movie…well, it’s definitely going to be a bonus if I got the chance to play a part in it especially when it’s my first film to hit the egyptian big screen. It goes without saying that I’ll have my say in directing the movie and the way it’s going to be shot…I don’t have that much confidence in the nowadays egyptian directors…though some of ‘em are starting to grow on me.
Anyhow, it’s premature to discuss such point at this point of time. I need to get wrting ASAP first.
