but I’ve been thinking that it can’t happen until some time far into the future. Because basically, at the moment, I don’t have anyone to travel with, and I wouldn’t feel safe travelling there on my own. Almost all my friends now have small children. Which means they can’t go on exciting trips with friends, they spend their holidays at Legoland or something similar.
But then it hit me today: there are actually lots of possibilities for signing up for group trips! I’ve actually talked to several people my age who have done that, and visited exciting places without having anyone to travel with. A guy I dated once told me he had booked an adventure trip to South America with an English company, it’s quite a lot cheaper than Norwegian companies. And getting to England to join the trip from there is easy. It wasn’t a trip for single people or anything, but he said a lot of people on that trip where travelling alone, and he had a great time. So, I’m looking into that.
It all depends on my work situation. I don’t know anything about work from september. If I end up unemployed a lot of the time for the next year, this will have to be postponed. But if I do manage to get enough work to get by without working up credit card debt, I could actually be able to do this next year. Which would certainly be something lovely to look forward to!
