A tiny step 20 months ago

in the right direction. I have now set aside a shelf in my wardrobe for stuff that I can try to sell online. I have a lot of books, cds, dvds and other things that I have read/watched and will probably never look at again, or that I didn`t like or whatever. And one of my main reason for holding on to them is that I spent a lot of money on this stuff, and it would be a shame to just give it away to a fleemarket or something, since I might be able to sell them and make some money (and I really need any extra cash that I can get these days.) But I never get around to do it. If I gather it somewhere spesific, it might get at least a little bit easier to actually get around to advertising the things for sale. And I have actually put out a couple of ads for books today, at a bookclub site where adds are free.
And if noone is interested in buying the things, I can give them away, knowing that I did try my best to sell them first. Yay!

Time to get back to work on this. 23 months ago

I planned to get rid of lots of stuff when I was moving, but ofcourse, it was way to much work just getting everything packed, moved and unpacked. I did get rid of some stuff in the process, but not enough.
I have now more or less found a a place for everything in my new apartment, but there`s just too much stuff. It turns out, even my dogs have way to many posessions! How did that happen? I have boxes full of broken dog toys that I kept because they like them. But the thing is, except for a few special favorites that they really do care about, they will play with any toy, the game is the point, not the toy. I also have lots of other dog stuff lying around, clickers, almost empty bottles of dog shampoo, treats they didn`t like and whatnot. Going through the dog boxes is quite difficult, because Agatha insists on helping me, more or less diving into the boxes and throwing everything around the apartment. But the dogs are with my parents for a few days.

So today, my goal is to go through the dog stuff, organize and throw out things they don`t need.done!

I haven`d done much on this goal 2 years ago

because of the doggie crisis lately. But things are calming down a bit now, so I need to get on with it. I`m moving soon, and I`ll have to start packing in a couple of weeks, and I`d like to get rid of someunnecessary stuf before that.

Goal for today
Go through some more magazines

Go through one box of hobby stuff

-Go through one box in storage room.

OK. Decluttering starts today! 2 years ago

I`m really frustrated by all the stuff all around me in general. And now it looks like I`ll be moving in about 6 weeks. So all the more reason to get started with decluttering! The more stuff I get rid of now, the less I will have to pack, unpack and organize when I get into the new place.
The trick is not to do too much and get overwhelmed though. A little bit every day is the way to go I guess.
Goal for today:
Go throug all my hobby magazines and interior design magazines, tear out pages with ideas I might actually use and put them in folders, and throw out the magazines.

I really need to work on this, and it`s much nicer to do it in a team!
