Territorial Pissing

Male dragonflies can be very territorial (much like male humans. Love seeing a young guy that has his girlfriend in the “My bitch grip”) Staking claim to a area of pond or stream. When you see two adults chasing each other it is often a male chasing another from its turf.

I’m assuming they don’t mark said turf with cans of spray paint. I wonder when dragonflies become middle aged they buy a red sports car. Prolly not.
