I’m up and past 15,000 words. And I have been for a few days but since I don’t write on Mondays or Tuesdays it doesn’t seem so impressive. That means I’m a sixth of the way through with my first draft. My first goal was a third or 30,000 words. Once I overcome that first huge hurtle everything will feel a lot more concrete. Hope I can do it (and I hope you guys do it too).
Best of luck,
-Stot

-Today is day eleven in my attempt at writing the fantasy novel burning inside of me. I am at 12,318 words out of approx. 90,000 for my first draft. The biggest problem so far is finding the time to write everyday.
-As a side note; anyone looking for a good book on the craft of writing I would recomend “You can write a novel” by ‘James V. Smith Jr.’ it has a lot of straightforward practical advice.
