Since my deployment, I’ve taken over 500 pictures. I’ve just been shooting pictures of whatever interests me. also, I’m documenting the Civil Affairs projects we are working on.
I am currently in a area that hasn’t seen a lot of Americans. In some cases, people think we are Russians. It feels like stepping back into the 13th Century. I want to document as much as possible, before it is changed forever.
I plan on have a few thousand photos, from which to cull the best 200. I have some photographer friends who will help me put together a decent portfolio.
