The job I wanted to get promoted in was sort of dead-end, and the people were becoming increasingly awful… so I got a new job with better pay instead!

I am revising my thoughts.
I like where I am at my job.
To me, “promotion” now means not having to work a “day” job, and instead being able to live off of the money I make in my creative pursuits (of which I have many).
So that’s now my ultimate promotional-goal.
So I just started a new job, and I am starting in the usual position for beginners. And that’s fine and dandy! I totally understand them not hiring me to the most desired spot right away! BUT no matter how much I love my current position, I am ALWAYS going to be shooting for that most-desired spot, and I AM going to get it, before the other new-hires do. There’s no question! AND I’m going to do it within my first YEAR with the company!
How’s that for shooting for the moon?
:)
