Catch a groundhog

The trap is done, and out for testing. I have it baited and setting out tonight to test before I take it up to my dads. It will be taken up and set up at my dads one week from Sunday. If all goes well, it will catch the groundhog very quickly. We tested it with one of my daughters cats and my other daughters miniature dachshund dog. Worked great :)

My dad has had a groundhog under his work shed for a few years. It really needs to be on its was but he can’t get rid of it. He has tried everything everyone suggested and it wont go. Now we are down to lethal options or a live trap. Lethal options leave the risk of it getting under the shed before dying and stinking for months. I think I will try trapping and snaring first lol. Buying a trap is not an option because that would be too boring so, I am going to build one myself, and make a snare. We will see what catches him first (if any).
