to wear it today. But I think I miscounted the number of laps. Sigh.

swimmer in the pool yesterday. That’s not saying much; there were only about a dozen people in there, and half of them were of the “float and chat” variety. Still quite quick for me, though. (I think I was maybe frustrated from not being able to go in the sea on Sunday.) But exactly how quick? I don’t know. Because I FORGOT TO WEAR MY STOPWATCH. Bad Sumit! Bad!
at the moment is based around doing things faster, not further. But without something to beat – be it a competitor or the clock – it’s too easy to slip into a relaxing stroll rather than aerobic exercise. Obviously timing myself would help, but that rather depends on remembering! to! wear! my! goddamned! stopwatch! And remembering to start it at the outset is also a good idea. According to my watch, I ran my last 5K in 16:55. Which was nice … but starting it before the second lap would probably have yielded a more truthful result.
