Slowly trudging along. I finished Order of the Phoenix about a week ago, and I’m on Half-Blood Prince now. If I were reading them in print, I’d be going far more quickly, but I’m listening to them on tape before I go to sleep, so I’m not getting through such big chunks at a time. I’m half tempted to buy the audiobook on iTunes and stick it on my iPod to listen to when I’m waiting for Claire or doing my lights at vision therapy.
Anyway, five down, one more to go. :)

I finished Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire a night or two ago, and have now started on The Order of the Phoenix.
I still don’t really like the main character. Blah.

Finished reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and, just in time, the NLS sent me the next three books! I’m up to chapter 5 of The Goblet of Fire now. :)

Chamber of Secrets finished, now I’m reading The Prisoner of Azkaban. My progress might stall after this… I don’t have the fourth book. Here’s hoping the NLS sends me Goblet of Fire.

I finished re-reading “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” this afternoon. The first time I read it, I stumbled onto it by accident while wandering around the Central Arizona College library. The series hadn’t yet gained the fame it would eventually, and I’d never heard of J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter, Hogwards, nor any of the rest. I loved it, raved about it for a while – I was so excited when I found out there was another! I’d have to go look to see how many books were out at the time, and I don’t remember whether I read Chamber of Secrets right away or had to wait a bit, but I do remember absolutely being in love with the first book.
This time around, I didn’t lovelovelove it quite as much, but it was still really good, and it was interesting to reread it with more knowledge of what was to come. I think J.K. Rowling’s gotten to be a bit better of a writer as she’s gone along, as is to be expected. Then again, maybe it’s only that her books are very best the first time around. Either way, they’re still good, and I suppose I’ll find out as I keep reading along.
