Balance Transfer 16 months ago

I am throwing myself into this hardcore! I am thinking about opening a new credit card with a 0% APR on balance transfers and transfering my exsisting balances. Anyone have advice? Is this a wise decision?

ON MY WAY! 2 years ago

I finally got up to nerve to look and I’m ready to go for it. I’ve put myself on a STRICT budget and I am ready to say “NO!” I feel like a fool for spending so imprudently for the last two years. I am trying Dave Ramsey’s snowball method with my own twist.

My sister told me I could call my credit card companies and ask for a lower rate so I will definitely be doing that. It never hurts to ask…

My main focus right now is to pay off my car, which is barely worth anything so I can drop my full coverage insurance. I figure if anything happens (God forbid). I can borrow one of my grandparents vehicles that just sits in the drveway. Having those two things out of the way should save me a bundle to throw at the credit cards. I will have my car paid off in no more than three months!!!

I have also, after careful consideration, decided to apply for a second job. The faster I have this behind me, the better I will feel.
