The Ohio winters have really messed up my hands. One day, when it’s warmer and I can hold the needle, I WILL finish Kieran’s quilt.

Angela’s binding is done. She’s been using it even though I still need to do some embroidery on it. Kieran’s won’t be as big as previously mentioned … just not enough of the background fabric. I only have a few more blocks to make to finish the top. I have most of the completed blocks already sewn into columns of eight each with three columns sewn together. His is so close to being done!!
OK, I have finished hand-quilting Angela’s quilt. I still need to bind it, so it’s not completed.
As for Kieran’s, I worked it out and as long as the white background fabric lasts, I need to sew 25 more blocks (I have 23) and the top will be a proper twin size.
My goal this month is to make one block for each day. I’m good up until Sunday. Yesterday I was SUPPOSED to take the kids and myself to get our eyes checked, but transportation screwed that up. Anyways, I have to sew together two blocks today and maybe a third because there’s another doctor appointment tomorrow.
Most of the green pieces are cut. I used some of my fabric stash to make a copy of the block I’m doing and it’s beautiful! I can’t wait to start sewing!!
I have most of the greens for Kieran’s quilt cut. Next time I have spare money (lmao!! ‘spare’ money?) I’ll get the off-white/tan for the background on the blocks.
Yesterday afternoon, at 12:30, I finished Caitlyn’s quilt!! Yeah!! At three pm, Mom came and took the three older kids to her place for a couple days, so Brian and I went and ran a few errands. One was at JoAnn’s, so I picked up a few more fat quarters for Kieran’s quilt because they were on sale. Woo hoo!! Getting closer! Angela’s still needs to be finished basting before I start on quilting it.
