I’ve been trying to just clean up small things each day so that hopefully I’ll get ahead soon!

I cleaned the counters, scrubbed the floors, cleaned all the dishes and wiped down the cabinets. It took forever but it looks so nice!
I went through and cleaned like crazy this weekend, I’m so proud of myself. My floors are all vaccuumed, my downstairs bathroom is sparkly, my kitchen is clean. It looks so amazing!
I vaccuumed the entire house and then did a ton of stain removing on my living room carpet. It looks so clean and pretty, I’m so proud of myself. The problem is that I got obsessed with cleaning up every tiny stain in the carpet and neglected to mop the kitchen and bathroom floors at all! I guess that will be a job for tonight or tomorrow. I also realized that I really need to dust more often.
I rent my house from her and she wants to come check the place out. It’s a wreck. I ‘ve been working hard on it, but keeping up after three cats and two twenty something male roommates is almost impossible! The whole house needs vaccuumed, the kitchen & bathrooms need the floors mopped, the carpets need shampooed, there is clutter everywhere downstairs and in my room. Someone please tell me how to make my house appear sparkly clean in less than two days when I work 8 to 10 hours per day until then!
I was supposed to have a new washer and dryer delivered, which is a whole other story, but it motivated me to vaccuum and mop the floor and clear out all those nasty lint and dust bunnies hiding in that room. I even vaccummed under the appliances when the guys came to move them out. I didn’t get to clean under the washer yet, there is some super nasty stuff there. They have to come back for the washer anyway, so I’ll do that then.
I’ve started daily routines after looking at this site and it’s really helping me to keep up on my house. I’m making my bed, doing the dishes, cleaning the kitchen sink and counters everyday. I’m also doing the little zone “missions” every day during the week. Those help the most because it makes me clean one extra thing that I hadn’t planned on each day. My house is looking better and better. I just wish I could get my roommates motivated to help me so that I didn’t have to pick up after them constantly!
I know that doesn’t sound like alot, but since it’s keeping me motivated to clean each and everyday I really feel like it’s helping. I’ve also been super good about keeping up with the laundry and dishes, which used to be a huge problem for me.
I’ve been working a little bit on the house everyday and I’m really starting to notice a difference. It’s still not spotless by any means, but it looks a little less dirty and cluttered than it did the day before. If I can keep this going it will be clean in no time!
I spent most of the day today cleaning my dining room and kitchen as well as doing laundry and dishes. One and a half rooms down, lots more to go!
