I'm getting better 1 year ago

Moving is making me a much more organized person. I’ve been making lists and even following them. Not to mention I’ve been cleaning through all of my things and eliminating a lot of what I don’t need. I still have a long way to go before I consider myself to be an organized person, but I’m making progress. :)

One week of daily cleaning/organizing! 1 year ago

I’m so proud of myself. Everyday for the last week I’ve done some type of cleaning or organizing instead of letting things pile up until the end of the week. I really feel like it’s helping me organize the house just by putting things away each day after I use them.

It's getting better each day 1 year ago

I’m trying to become more organized and to keep my house much cleaner. I’m not totally there yet, but I have been working a lot on cleaning out things I no longer need or will use, as well as simply putting things where they belong right after I finish using them. The other big things I’m working on is keeping the dishes cleaned up at all times, filing paperwork right away, and not letting my laundry piles get out of control. Just these smalls steps are keeping my house a bit more organized already.

I've been starting to Freecycle things I don't need 1 year ago

I know it’s a very small step, but I’ve gotten rid of a few things that were taking up quite a bit of space in my bedroom and closet. As I’ve been cleaning everyday I put aside things I don’t want or need anymore and either toss them out or put them in a pile to Freecycle. If no one takes them on Freecycle then I have a bag started for Goodwill. I know it’s a slow process, but I feel like I’m starting to get somewhere which is making me feel good about it.

I need to declutter 1 year ago

My house is a mess! There are things everywhere that really don’t have a place to be put away. I need to go through everything I have and get rid of what I don’t need or use. This is even more true now that Christmas is over and I have so many new things.
