I think I may quit the gym and join Curves. Curves is only 3 blocks away from home and I can see myself making the commitment to get up early and go. The gym is 20 minutes away and more expensive. I think Curves may be the way to go…

I’m seriously thinking of traning for next year’s mini marathon. Is that insane? Obviously not ready for this year. I just think it would be an interesting challenge that would keep me in shape. Eh, I may add that as a goal later. Because I’m crazy!



Walking...Part Deux

I actually woke up and took a twenty minute walk before eating brekkie and getting read for work. I used to do this all the time a couple of years ago, but this morning I decided I needed to start doing it again. And I do have some added motivation…but still…it was nice to be up and at ‘em and out in my neighborhood. A good way to start the day.

Two nights in a row…Found a good walking buddy in my neighbor…None of that strolling all of my friends do…We’re out to walk and we walk fast! Booyah!

I went to the gym last night and plan on going again tonight. I would say I’m proud of myself, but it needs to be a regular thing for about 2 weeks before I decide this isn’t all a fluke.
