that gives me ten new Portuguese words a day. Hopefully this will be easy for me to keep up with.

Desejo assistir “House” comigo = Do you want to watch “House” with me?

li = I read

as escritures = the scriptures

orar = to pray

oro = I pray

ora = you pray

chato = boring

divertido = fun

falar = to talk

falo = I talk

falei = I talked

fala = you talk

falamos = we talk

falen = they talk

ovo = egg
quejo = cheese

Estou con fome por ovos con quejo = I am hungry for eggs with cheese!

Desejo ovos con quejo por cafe = I want eggs with cheese for breakfast

casa = house

lar = home

Steve no esta en a casa = Steve isn’t in the house

No estou en a casa = I am not in the house

Sinto muito = I’m sorry (literally, I feel much)

sintir = to feel

por favor = please

obrigada = thank you (feminine)

brigada = thanks

de nada = you’re welcome

Desejar = to desire, to want

desejo = I want

desejas = you want

Desejas janta? = Do you want dinner?
