have been made. I sat down with the latest graduate catalog and academic schedule and mapped out the classes I want to take.

I am finishing 580 History of Religion now.

11/02 – 2/21 671 History and Culture of Central Asia
3/01 – 6/20 History of Science
7/05 – 10/24 Great Revolutions

I’m taking History of Religion this fall. It’s been fascinating, although I have to work hard to keep up with the reading. Yikes!

but I read thirty pages today. My class starts next week, and I’m on my way to having a good start on the reading.

starts in a little over a week. I am only about 2/3 the first week of reading. I was hoping to be a little bit further, but at least I’ve started…

I did well. Six credits down, thirty to go. :) It feels like such a long way to go… I just need to keep working on it a little at a time!

One more class done!!!! I won’t be able to work on another one for a while because I need to finish some classes for my certification. I hope to start with my graduate studies again in the fall. Just a little step, but it’s more than what I have been doing.

and I think I’m going to be able to do it! Next week I have 2.5 days off from teaching for Spring Break. I will use those days to write, write, write, write! The timing couldn’t be better.

The books I ordered from Amazon have almost all arrived, and my paper outlined got a really high grade. I’m feeling good about this.

I did virtually nothing else this week, but I finished! I had to read almost the whole book this week. I was kind of overwhelmed, but I did it!

I actually was really happy with it. The book was very interesting, and I was able to take coherent notes as I read. The review came together a lot easier than I expected, and I felt good about the final result.

The next big project is my research paper. I have about a month and a half to finish it. I really need to be disciplined and work on it every day!

on my paper proposal! Wahoo! This is an improvement over my last paper proposal score, and it feels good to be making some progress. :) My professor says that my ideas and sources are right on track. Hopefully I’ll be able to follow through and complete the paper without it becoming a hugely stressful burden… :)

my paper proposal on Saturday. Yes, that was the week of Christmas, and I STILL GOT IT DONE!!!! I am very impressed with myself. :) This weekend is my best friend’s wedding, so once I get through that, I’ll have more time for my class. Although, I’ve done pretty well so far… Yeah for doing that advance reading!
