I can’t believe I’ve finally done this.
OK, it’s been a long time since I logged into 43 things….
In february I went on a snowboarding trip – it really alerted me to just how unfit I was.
Since that trip I have been full steam ahead at the gym and running 3 nights a week and have a very healthy, tasty diet.
I am back to a good level of fitness – and getting better and better with every month.

OK – as part of a drive to kick start a healthier life I’ve given myself the un-enviable challenge of doing a charity run for the British Heart Foundation (More Info: http://www.bhf.org.uk/sponsor/osbornaldo).
I’ve already started training – went out for a 2km run yesterday – nearly killed me. I’ve also started eating more fruit and veg as well as eating breakfast in order to re-balance my diet.
This will be my last attempt at getting fit before I give up and accept a life of gluttony. If running for charity and the expectation of my sponsors cant motivate me, nothing will.

Ok well first the bad news, My new job means that i’ll be leaving the gym :( I know things were starting to look up but these things happen.
On the good side, once i’ve settled in I get a corporate membership at a gym in London thanks to my job and so fingers crossed i’ll pick this up again.

Ok i’ve joined the health club at the hotel I work at.
Cheap staff membership and a fair amount of equipment.
I’ve been twice so far, hopefully this is a good sign of things to come!

Ok – must admit that this one isn’t going so well…. i’ve done absolutely no exercise for about a month now and my diet sucks.
I need to a) learn to drive and b) get a job so i can start regularly going to a good gym!

Well i’ve not started much physical exercise (at least not regularly) yet but i’ve adjusted my diet. I’m now eating better than I was before, good carbs, low fat and a steady flow of protien plus enough fruit and veg to get my daily vitamins so it’s a start.

I worked out regularly last year @ the gym every other day (almost religiously) and I started to finally get back into shape.
But this last year of Uni has put a stop to that so i’m hoping to get straight back on the path to fitness once I graduate.
Notice I blame uni for a lot of things?
