Disdain for the MCAT (Friday, August 20, 2010)

The MCAT is such a pain in the ass. It saps the life right out of you! It’ll even scare you. But I will nevertheless continue on!

Untitled (Wednesday, July 21, 2010)

Once I return home from my vacation I will continue studying general chemistry and biology for the next five months before I begin the spring semester.

For those of you studying for the MCAT, here are some sites and/or techniques that have helped:
1. Quizlet.com (so excellent!)
2. Garageband (to record myself explaining the information to ‘someone else’)
3. A whiteboard to draw flowcharts (particularly helpful with human anatomy and physiology)

Thus Far (Sunday, September 13, 2009)

So far my goal is to study approximately an 1 hr. and 45 mins. a day (2/3 audio with visual, and 1/3 reading). I have approximately 6 1/2 to 7 months until the MCAT date.
